Orchard Supply Hardware, a Lowe's company, was about to open its doors in Southwest Florida. In order to push their main message of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, we flew in to capture it all – from store openings, to event coverage, to stocking up on always-on content.
The time spent inside their 5 new stores helped us gain indispensable insight that guided the content creation; we wanted to put out what Orchard's followers wanted to see! A nice bonus? Spending time in Florida weather in the middle of January ain't too shabby.
In order to drive foot traffic into the store, we developed a series of Facebook Live videos, where we interacted with the various events happening inside each location. Turns out, sometimes I'm a live video host as well. Watch out, HQ dude.
This 1954 vintage Chevy was a head turner, conversation starter, and a presence during store openings and more. Of course we not only shot it beautifully, we also rode it around town. :)
The *Home Enjoyment* mentality for Orchard Supply Hardware meant their customers would spend less time doing the work, and more time enjoying the fruits of their labors. DIYs and How-to's were a constant staple in Orchard's monthly calendars.
Orchard stood out from its competition from its refined merchandise and pointed nurseries, to amazing customer service. Everyone's a neighbor – and everyone gets apples at check out. Capturing the essence of this customer-based store was key for success!
